Role Overview
We are looking for an Audit Readiness Specialist to support federal and DoD audit and financial compliance efforts. This role focuses on improving audit processes, strengthening internal controls, and supporting financial statement audit readiness for government clients.
What You Will Do
- Support audit remediation and audit readiness activities
- Create and update process documentation (narratives, flowcharts, SOPs)
- Perform internal controls testing and recurring compliance reviews
- Assist with financial statement analysis and audit report reviews
- Help develop and track corrective action plans (CAPs)
- Work closely with federal and DoD stakeholders to support audit objectives
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in DoD or Federal audit readiness or financial management
- Understanding of internal controls and audit remediation processes
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience OR
- Bachelor’s degree with 15 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Salary : $140,000 - $170,000
