Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze government reports and regulatory requirements.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations including general ledger reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes using accounting software such as QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities to facilitate sound financial decision-making.
- Review journal entries, double entry bookkeeping, and accrual accounting entries for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with regulatory reporting obligations and prepare detailed financial reports for management review.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members on technical accounting standards, financial concepts, and best practices.
- Prepare individual, Partnership, Nonprofit, Estate, Trusts & Corporate Taxes
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or Accounting degree or equivalent professional qualification/experience preferred but willing to train. The ability to read instructions and apply them to new challenges are a must.
- Experience in corporate accounting or public accounting environments with a strong understanding of financial statements, tax and financial concepts preferred
- Knowledge of financial report writing, interpretation, and analysis techniques
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, or similar systems; experience with Microsoft Excel
- Experience in regulatory reporting, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliation processes
- Communication skills for preparing clear financial reports and collaborating across teams
Salary : $60,000 - $95,000
