We are an independently owned and operated Red Wing Shoe Store, that specializes in higher end work footwear in a full-service sales environment. We are looking for a Full- time Store Manager to join our team of dedicated employees who enjoys the challenge of working in face-to-face sales and is driven by success.

Job Description:

• Promote and support the high-quality Red Wing brand image through professional face-to-face selling. Providing each customer the Red Wing Ultimate Fit Experience.
• Enter customer information & sales into POS system, process payments, balance cash drawer & daily reporting
• Measure and fit every customer properly, every time.
• Explain product features and benefits, as well as technical specifications.
• Assist manager in leading and motivating staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
• Lead by example always – hold self and others accountable.
• Coach and mentor team members to support development of KPI’s
• Practice industrial sales lead development on the sales floor and in the community. Attend Industrial events as needed.
• Assist in managing inventory, in accuracy and selection.
• Maintain proficiency with product knowledge and operating standards through continuous training

Qualifications:

1 year(s) of face-to-face sales experience is highly beneficial, but we will train the right individual.

• Ability to be a team player - learning from and encouraging other's
• Ability to receive and understand coaching - must be willing to receive constructive feedback, and show improvement and growth
• Results oriented - meet/exceed sales metrics both personally and as a team on a consistent basis
• Time management skills - approach daily tasks and projects with energy and a sense of urgency
• Effective Written/Verbal Communication skills - professionally interact with customers and co-workers in a high-end retail environment
• Computer Utilization - ability to use computers and various software
• Face-to-face sales experience is helpful - this is NOT a cashier job, you will be talking and interacting with customers on a one-to-one basis.
• Demonstrate a passion for our Brand - have energy, excitement and take pride in working with the Red Wing Brand and our customer base
• Demonstrate a passion for learning and growing in the footwear industry - we are looking for a long-term employee who enjoys working with people and wants to be part of the footwear industry
• Critical thinking and ability to handle problem solving and make decisions
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with all customers effectively
• Graphic design or marketing background is helpful for creating boot posters, but not required.
• ** MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY **. We are open 7 days a week. Monday - Friday 9am - 7pm; Saturday's 9am - 6pm; Sunday's 11am-3pm

Physical Demands:

*Lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, lacing shoes, and climbing a ladder.

*Store maintenance duties including but not limited to vacuuming, mopping floors,

washing windows and setting up and maintaining displays

Pay: $17.50 - $25.00 per hour
