Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking various dishes while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean work area.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Ensure all food preparation meets food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a culinary role preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as knives, stoves, ovens, etc.
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction from the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
