What are the responsibilities and job description for the EXPERIENCED Propane Driver position at Red Triangle Oil Company?
Red Triangle Oil Co. is looking for an EXPERIENCED service-oriented Class-B CDL propane truck driver with all endorsements to be responsible for delivery of propane. Responsibilities:
- Drive Class B cargo tank motor vehicle to deliver bulk propane to customer sites as needed.
- Responsible for inspecting the truck; operate it in compliance with the Safety rules, local and federal laws, DOT rules and regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Adhere to company safety policies at all times
- Complete Pre-trip and Post-trip inspections on truck
- Load and unload trucks
- Maintain excellent working relations with customers, vendors and employees
- Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements:
- 1 – 3 years driving experience
- 3-Year current DMV printout
- Current Class-B California driver’s license or better with Haz-Mat, tanker and Air brake endorsements.
- Must pass drug/alcohol screen
- Ability to lift 80 lbs.
- Willingness to work after hours and weekends.
- Ability to apply basic math skills
- Ability to communicate well with customers and fellow employees
- Neat appearance and professional demeanor
- Ability to operate a propane bobtail equipped with a PTO driven pumping system safely
- Ability to work under time constraints & deadlines
- Dependable and work well with minimal supervision/ Good route management skills
- Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
- High school diploma/GED required. Experience with propane delivery service is required.
