The Night Ranger/Park Services Worker assists with the security and operations of Red Top Mountain State Park. Duties include security rounds, basic maintenance, customer service/hospitality, janitorial and other duties as assigned. This is a part-time position working up to 29 hours each week.
Responsibilies include:
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and planting
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of park grounds including picking up trash and cleaning restrooms daily
- Assist visitors with park information, directions, and recommendations
- Inform visitors about park rules and regulations to ensure visitor safety and preserve natural resources
- Conduct routine patrols to monitor park activities and address any issues or concerns. Close park gates and ensure visitors are off trails.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary
- Stock firewood and assist with other park duties as needed
Job Type: Part-time
