We are seeking a talented and passionate Tattoo Artist to join our creative team. As a Tattoo Artist, you will have the opportunity to express your creativity while providing clients with unique and personalized tattoo designs that reflect their individual styles and preferences.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their tattoo ideas and preferences, providing expert advice on design and placement.
• Create custom tattoo designs using illustration skills, ensuring each piece is unique and tailored to the client's vision.
• Execute tattoos with precision, adhering to best practices in technique and safety.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following strict sanitation protocols to ensure the health and safety of clients.
• Educate clients on aftercare procedures to promote healing and longevity of tattoos.
• Engage in sales activities by promoting studio services, products, and special offers to enhance client experience.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an inviting atmosphere within the studio.
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and color theory to continually improve skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Tattoo Artist with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficient in various tattooing techniques and styles.
• Knowledge of color theory and its application in tattoo design.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Strong illustration skills for creating custom designs.
• Familiarity with first aid procedures relevant to tattooing practices.
• Experience in store management is a plus but not required.
• Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple client requests.

Pay: $57,112.00 - $63,466.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 per week
