Position Summary
As our Minnesota portfolio continues to grow, we are looking to strengthen our leadership team with an experienced Regional Manager who can help drive performance, develop talent, and support future expansion. The Regional Manager provides strategic leadership and operational oversight to a multi-state portfolio of multifamily communities. This role is responsible for driving financial performance, mentoring on-site management teams, ensuring regulatory and policy compliance, and supporting the overall success of each community within the assigned region. The Regional Manager serves as a key operational leader, guiding teams to meet organizational goals while maintaining high standards of resident satisfaction and asset performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to on-site teams across the assigned region.
- Oversee daily operations of a large, multi-property portfolio spanning multiple states.
- Conduct monthly on-site property visits and inspections.
- Mentor Community Managers, identify opportunities for operational improvement, recommend solutions, and monitor results.
- Identify and mitigate liability concerns within communities.
- Collaborate with Community Managers in the preparation of annual operating budgets.
- Prepare and submit annual operating budgets for approval.
- Monitor and control regional budgets by reviewing and approving purchase orders.
- Perform monthly financial reviews, including variance reports, ensuring operational and financial objectives are met.
- Monitor maintenance concerns and recommend capital improvements to maintain competitive market position.
- Oversee all major capital projects, improvements, and significant purchases.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Assist with special operations such as due diligence, acquisitions, dispositions, or support for other regions as requested.

- Availability for extended/flexible hours, including weekends, as needed
Attendance & Travel
- Full-time role requiring consistent attendance
- May require nights, weekends, and occasional holidays
- Extensive travel within the assigned region is required
- Active participation in company meetings, events, and functions is expected

Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CPM, CAM, RMP, or CMCA certifications preferred but not required
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Community Manager in the multifamily industry required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Regional Manager in the multifamily industry required
Computer Skills
- Intermediate computer and internet proficiency
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with Yardi, Voyager, PopCard, Entrata, and Resident Check preferred
Learning & Development
- Commitment to ongoing professional development through company education and training programs
- Ability to perform intermediate mathematical functions
- Ability to utilize property management and reporting software effectively
