Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front End Associate to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences. As a Front End Associate, you will be responsible for managing the front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service delivery, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor.
• Manage reservations using OpenTable and assist with seating arrangements.
• Process transactions efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
• Provide menu recommendations and upsell food and beverage items to enhance guest experience.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the front end, including bussing tables and maintaining sanitation standards.
• Assist in food preparation and handling as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service delivery.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly to maintain guest relations.
• Support other front-of-house roles as necessary, including hosting duties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent time management abilities to handle busy service periods effectively.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
• Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety standards is essential.
• Experience in serving, bussing, or host/host roles is desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
