What are the responsibilities and job description for the SaaS Platform Administrator – Salesforce position at Red Sun Technology?
We are looking for an experienced SaaS Platform Administrator with at least five years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience to support the client’s enterprise Salesfo administration, configuration, security, reliability, performance, user support, reporting, workflow automation, data management, and integrations with external systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce Flows, user and permission management, reports and dashboards, APIs and integration methods, troubleshooting, documentation, stakeholder communication, and end-user training. Experience supporting county, municipal, or other local government environments is highly desirable.
- Minimum of five years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience in an enterprise environment.
- Must be located in Oakland County Michigan or nearby as interviews are in person.
- Experience managing Salesforce users, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, security controls, and access governance.
- Strong experience configuring Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, reports, dashboards, and data quality controls.
- Experience building, maintaining, and troubleshooting Salesforce Flows and platform automation.
- Experience supporting Salesforce integrations with external systems using APIs, middleware, data-loading tools, or related integration methods.
- Ability to monitor platform performance, troubleshoot user and system issues, and support incident resolution.
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable Salesforce configurations and platform enhancements.
- Strong documentation skills, including system configurations, support procedures, training materials, and change records.
- Experience delivering user guidance, training, and Salesforce best-practice recommendations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Experience in county, municipal, public-sector, or local government environments is preferred.
- Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or relevant Cloud Consultant certification are preferred.
