What are the responsibilities and job description for the AirWatch / VMware Workspace ONE Administrator position at Red Sun Technology?
We are looking for an AirWatch / VMware Workspace ONE Administrator to support the client with mobile device management, migration planning, and enterprise mobility operations. This position will maintain and optimize the existing AirWatch MDM platform, support iOS/Android/Windows devices, and assist in planning the phased migration to Microsoft Intune. The ideal candidate brings strong MDM experience along with excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- US Citizen or Greencard holder
- W2 only
- 3 years hands-on experience with VMware Workspace ONE / AirWatch administration.
- 2 years experience with AirWatch MDM, mobile OS platforms, and enterprise mobility architecture.
- 2 years experience managing cellular activations via Verizon, AT&T, or T-Mobile portals.
- 1 year experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, or Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
- Ability to maintain enrollment, policies, app deployment, profiles, and compliance workflows.
- Experience providing Tier 2/3 support for iOS, Android, and Windows mobile devices.
- Ability to create SOPs, KBs, and documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting or leading an Intune migration.
- Microsoft certifications (MD-102, SC-300, AZ-104).
- Experience with Zero Trust, conditional access, or identity integrations.
- PowerShell scripting or automation experience.
- Experience integrating MDM with IAM solutions.
