Job Summary:
As an HVAC Technician at HH Red Stone, you will be primarily responsible for the maintenance, repair, and replacement of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems at our residential properties. You’ll also assist with other general maintenance tasks as needed to support unit turnover and daily operations. This position is ideal for someone experienced with HVAC troubleshooting who values professionalism, teamwork, and resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including split systems, packaged units, PTACs, and thermostats.
- Perform routine and preventive HVAC maintenance to minimize system downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
- Conduct seasonal inspections and system cleanings (filters, coils, belts, etc.).
- Respond to emergency calls related to HVAC failures or climate control issues.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental codes and regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of work performed and communicate effectively with property management staff.
- Assist with general maintenance as needed (e.g., plumbing, appliance repair, unit turnover).
- Collaborate with outside vendors and contractors for larger HVAC projects.
Required Qualifications:
- EPA Universal Certification (Required).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Prior experience in residential property maintenance or HVAC service (2 years preferred).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
- Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a small team.
