What are the responsibilities and job description for the Girls Varsity Basketball Coach position at Red Springs High School?
GENERAL DUTIES:
- To plan, organize and present an instructional environment which helps students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their educational and social development.
- To plan and coordinate a basketball program that will help each participating student achieve a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values of discipline, and an increased level of self-esteem.
QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED
- Valid North Carolina Teaching Certificate
- Interest in and aptitude for performing teaching tasks
- Preferably some experience as a head basketball coach
