We are currently looking for a Quality Manager for our manufacturing facility in Greenwood, SC. This position is responsible for organizing and directing all the activities of the quality process. They will work to make sure Total Quality Management principles are integrated within all activities of the business. The Quality Manager maintains an ISO certified quality system that promotes customer satisfaction at all levels. This individual will coordinate the activities of the quality department including measurement tracking, supplier quality performance, gage calibration, receiving, inspection and process improvement activities.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Analyze key quality indicators to help production focus on areas for improvement, manage customer complaints, root cause analysis to ensure prompt resolution for customer satisfaction
- Address any quality issues associated within a project and communicate to manufacturing departments
- Plan, organize, direct and control the quality management system
- Serve as management representative for ISO 9001 QMS Certification and maintenance
- Total Quality Management Steering committee manager
- Total Quality Management process manager for implementation, monitoring, improvement and reporting
- Lead auditor for Audit programs
- TQM trainer for new employees
- Contact or visit with suppliers/customers on quality related issues
- Maintain a supplier certification program
- Various other tasks as assigned
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- BS in Business/Engineering
- 5 years Quality in a Manufacturing environment
- 5 years’ experience with Total Quality Management
- Understanding of ISO Standards
- Understanding of Lean Principals
