Duties
- Pizza Delivery Driver – Roles & Responsibilities Driving
- Safely deliver pizzas and other orders to customers in a timely manner
Boxing (Food Preparation Support)
- Assemble and box pizzas correctly according to order details
- Ensure food quality, correct toppings, and proper portioning
- Label boxes with order information when required
- Include correct sides, sauces, napkins, and utensils
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the prep area
End of Day Closing
- Clean and sanitize workstations, counters, and equipment
- Fold boxes and restock supplies for the next shift
- Take out trash and recycling
- Assist with closing procedures, including securing food and tools
- Help reconcile delivery receipts and cash if assigned
- Ensure store is clean, organized, and ready for opening
- Follow traffic laws and company delivery procedures
- Use GPS/maps to plan efficient delivery routes
- Handle cash and electronic payments accurately
- Provide friendly, professional customer service at delivery locations
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles
- Must own a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for deliveries
- Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation tools to optimize delivery schedules
- Experience with warehouse operations including load & unload procedures and inventory handling
- Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safety standards for manual handling
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with
drivers or similar classifications is advantageous - Prior experience in customer service roles that require clear communication and professionalism
