Duties
- Perform pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, clipping, and styling to meet client specifications and breed standards
- Handle animals with care and confidence, ensuring their safety and comfort during grooming procedures
- Restrain animals safely using appropriate techniques to facilitate grooming tasks without causing stress or injury
- Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools, stations, and work areas to uphold hygiene standards
- Maintain your own
- Drive the company vehicle opening all traffic laws
- Mauntain scissors and Blades
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming needs, special instructions, and aftercare advice
- Other duties as it pertains to working as a mobile groomer
- Communicate with the owner about the day's events and work with the booking system software
Experience
- Prior experience in pet grooming or animal handling is highly preferred
- Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary procedures enhances service quality
- Experience working with veterinary technicians or assistants is a plus for understanding animal health considerations
- Familiarity with animal restraint methods and pet sitting responsibilities ensures safe handling of diverse animals
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to manage larger pets or equipment confidently
- Strong customer service skills to build trust with pet owners and provide exceptional care experiences
- Background in kennel management or animal care roles demonstrates reliability and dedication to animal well-being
