What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diesel Technician/Mechanic position at Red Rose Transit Authority?
Red Rose Transit Authority (RRTA) is currently accepting applications for a full-time Tech II and/or Tech I Diesel Mechanic.
Qualified candidates should have diesel mechanic experience. Experience with Cummins engines and strong electrical troubleshooting skills are preferred. Applicants must provide their own tools.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Class B CDL with air brake and passenger endorsements.
- Valid Pennsylvania Class 3 State Inspection License (Class 4 and 7 licenses are also acceptable).
This position may require working evenings, nights, weekends, and other scheduled shifts as needed.
The majority of work is performed indoors in a clean, climate-controlled, air-conditioned shop.
This is a union position.

Starting Hourly Rates:
- Tech II: $34.26 per hour
