Responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon arrival and provide them with information about the hotel and local attractions.
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring accuracy in guest accounts.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Operate multi-line phone systems to answer calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate departments.
- Maintain accurate records of room availability, reservations, and billing information.
- Conduct night audits as required to ensure financial accuracy at the end of each day.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure that guest needs are met promptly.
- Promote hotel amenities and services to enhance the guest experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or resort environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with hospitality management software is a plus.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for effective guest interactions.
