Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and order in Hotel/Motel settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong cleaning skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience in various cleaning environments. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, including dusting, Sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all assigned areas
- Assist with floor care and polishing hard floors
- Restock supplies and ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs professionally and courteously
- Follow safety protocols related to sanitation, chemical handling, and equipment use
- Manage janitorial tasks in commercial or hospitality settings, including restroom sanitation and trash removal
- Support housekeeping management with inventory control and scheduling as needed
- stripping dirty linen at specific times, and cleaning in a routine daily
- must be able to maneuver up and down stairs, carrying linens and cleaning supplies
- must be able to work in all weather conditions, by moving cart from room to room in outside setting
- Must be able to clean with in the allowable Minutes per room of 23 minutes
Experience
- Prior experience in Hotel/Motel cleaning is preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques with floor polishing
- Experience with sanitation standards, janitorial procedures, or custodial work is advantageous
- Hotel housekeeping experience or housecleaning management background is a plus
- Familiarity with laundry processes and equipment operation is desirable
- Strong customer service skills to ensure guest satisfaction in hospitality environments
This position requires a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards while providing excellent service. Candidates should be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 25.0 per week
