Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

There are open walk-in interviews from Wednesday to Saturday every week 9 am to 4 pm to discuss your experience and how you could fit into our team. You just need to ask for front desk and bring your id with you. We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems across our facilities. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently, safety standards are upheld, and the environment remains optimal for operations. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair various mechanical and electrical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
• Install, maintain, and upgrade appliances and mechanical systems with precision and adherence to safety standards.
• Operate company vehicles responsibly for on-site repairs or equipment delivery as needed.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
• Conduct HVAC system repairs including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and heating components to maintain climate control.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in mechanical systems repair and appliance maintenance.
• Proficiency in appliance repair, installation, and troubleshooting across diverse equipment types.
• Familiarity with HVAC & appliance technology including HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration).
• Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for effective diagnostics.
• Experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) processes in a commercial or industrial setting.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems and kitchen equipment maintenance.
• Construction experience is a plus for understanding complex mechanical setups.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients.
• Leadership qualities to assist in training or guiding junior technicians when necessary.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
