Hardscape Professional

Do you take pride in building something that will last for years to come?

When challenges come up on a job site, are you the person looking for solutions?

Do your teammates know they can count on you to keep your word, do quality work, and leave every project better than you found it?

If you're someone who enjoys working with your hands, seeing the results of your effort, and ending each day knowing you built something you're proud to put your name on, keep reading.

Some people are satisfied simply getting the job done. Others take ownership, continually look for ways to improve, and believe that how you work with your team is just as important as the finished product. If you're someone who values craftsmanship, communicates with respect, enjoys learning, and wants to be part of a dependable team that holds one another to a high standard, you might be exactly who we're looking for.

We're a family-owned landscaping company that's building more than patios, walkways, and retaining walls… We're building a team of people who care deeply about doing exceptional work, serving clients well, and helping one another grow.

We're looking for a Hardscape Professional who wants to create beautiful outdoor spaces while contributing to a team that's committed to ownership, craftsmanship, and an exceptional client experience.

Why This Role Matters

Every project we complete is built on trust. Our clients invite us onto their property because they believe we'll deliver quality work, communicate well, and treat their home with care.

As a Hardscape Professional, you'll play an important role in creating beautiful outdoor spaces while contributing to a team that clients can confidently recommend to their family and friends.

Your work directly impacts:

  • Quality craftsmanship
  • Client satisfaction
  • Team success
  • The reputation Red Rock Landscape has built over the past 20 years

What Success Looks Like

Within your first six months:

  • Your teammates know they can count on you.
  • Projects move forward safely and efficiently.
  • Clients notice the quality of your work and professionalism.
  • You confidently operate equipment while caring for company tools and job sites.
  • You consistently demonstrate ownership, initiative, and attention to detail.
  • You leave every project better than you found it.

Success isn't measured only by what gets built. It's measured by the pride you take in your work, the trust you build with clients, and the value you bring to your team.

Who Thrives Here

We're much more interested in who you are than simply how many years you've worked in landscaping.

Our ideal team member:

  • Takes ownership instead of waiting for direction.
  • Leads by example through work ethic and attitude.
  • Welcomes coaching and uses feedback to improve.
  • Values continual learning and actively seeks feedback to improve.
  • Solves problems instead of making excuses.
  • Communicates respectfully with teammates and clients.
  • Follows through on commitments.
  • Takes pride in doing quality work every day.

Hardscape experience is important. Character, coachability, integrity, and ownership are what make someone successful here.

Experience We're Looking For

  • Two or more years of hardscape installation experience.
  • Professional competency in hardscape construction.
  • Experience operating skid loaders and other equipment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to safely perform physically demanding outdoor work.

This Role May Not Be the Best Fit If...

We want every new team member to succeed, so it's important to be honest about what this role requires.

This role may not be the right fit if you:

  • Prefer doing only your assigned tasks instead of taking initiative.
  • Become frustrated when plans change or unexpected challenges arise.
  • Are uncomfortable receiving feedback or continuing to learn.
  • Prefer working independently rather than as part of a team.
  • Don't enjoy working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Believe quality is "good enough" instead of something worth continually improving.

The right person doesn't have to know everything.

They should enjoy working hard, solving problems, learning new skills, and contributing to a team that's committed to excellence.

What You'll Gain

When you join Red Rock Landscape, you'll find:

  • Meaningful work you can be proud of.
  • Leaders who genuinely invest in your growth.
  • A supportive, team-first culture.
  • Opportunities to continue developing your skills.
  • The satisfaction of seeing the results of your work every day.
  • A company committed to building long-term careers—not simply filling positions.

  • Pay: $25.00–$30.00 per hour (based on experience)
  • Schedule: Full-time
  • Location: Mechanicsburg, PA

  • Leave things better than we found them.
