Red River Pharmacy Services is seeking a motivated and dependable Infusion Staff Pharmacist to join our growing team in Texarkana. This position is ideal for a pharmacist who is passionate about patient care, clinical excellence, and working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

This role includes participation in an on-call rotation to support patient needs after normal business hours.

Position Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense infusion medications accurately and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Monitor patient medication therapy and provide clinical recommendations when appropriate
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff regarding infusion treatments and medication management
• Counsel patients and caregivers on medications, administration, and side effects
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Participate in pharmacy quality assurance and safety initiatives
• Assist with inventory management and medication ordering
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in Texas (Arkansas license preferred or ability to obtain)
• Infusion pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Long-term care or specialty pharmacy experience is a plus
