Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Financial Planner based in Fargo, ND. The Senior Financial Planner will analyze clients’ financial needs, develop tailored financial plans, and provide expert guidance in areas such as retirement planning, personal financial planning, and investment strategies. Additional responsibilities include monitoring clients’ financial situations, adapting plans as circumstances change, and delivering exceptional service to foster long-term relationships.
Responsibilities & Activities
· Work directly with Advisor prior to client meetings to finalize meeting prep and research client service or planning issues
· Conduct client meetings as appropriate to further develop client relationship
· Work on tasks post-meeting to implement any action items and follow up research and/or communication regarding post-meeting action steps
· Communicate directly with clients via phone and/or email.
· Collaborate with Advisor to manage and facilitate Client Planning & Technology Tools
· Run and review tax analysis software for clients.
· Work directly with Advisor and team to facilitate prospect and new business development.
· Work directly with Advisor to help facilitate portfolio management and portfolio trading.
· Identify and communicate ways in which the client planning and/or investment management process can be improved for efficiency purposes.
· Initiate and participate in client projects and initiatives, with the always goal of improving processes and the client experience.
· Research financial planning and investment management topics, including necessary outreach to allied professionals, custodians, and professional vendors
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Financial Planning and Personal Financial Planning, with demonstrated ability to create comprehensive financial strategies
- In-depth knowledge of Finance and Retirement Planning, with the ability to offer innovative solutions
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Proven ability to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- Experience of 2 years in a financial advisory or planning role preferred
- Experience with financial planning software (eMoney or MoneyGuide Pro) preferred
Base salary will be at minimum $70,000 and vary depending on related financial services and/or sales experience plus performance bonus and employer paid group benefits (retirement plan match, health insurance, life insurance, disability income insurance, dental insurance, and vision insurance).
