Perform teller duties at various locations.
Responsibilities
- Travel to various branch locations, as assigned, to assist when short-staffed.
- Assist members in accordance with operating procedures of the Credit Union, performing basic teller functions under minimal supervision.
- Cross-sells all RRCU services.
- Balance cash drawer daily.
- Responsible for the security of their own negotiables until signed over to the proper designated employee.
- Alert to warnings of fraud.
- Assist with advanced teller functions.
- Adheres to all Red River Employees Federal Credit Union policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Twelve months or more of teller experience and must have worked at a level II teller.
- High school diploma or the equivalent.
- Competent computer skills and use of standard office equipment.
- Friendly, outgoing individual with good communication skills and professional demeanor.
- Ability to meet, speak, and deal effectively with people, being professional always.
- Must maintain a neat and professional appearance.
- While the following list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented, identified physical requirements include ability to transport and reposition heavy bags of coin, to stand on feet for long periods of time, and to operate standard teller equipment with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
