What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA Tech position at Red River Commodities?
Red River Commodities has processed wild bird food and wildlife food products for more than 30 years. We contract directly with local growers to provide the freshest possible grains at the best possible prices. Our two wildlife food processing facilities are located in the heart of sunflower seed and grain-growing regions and we are currently searching for a QA Technician to join our wildlife facility located in Lubbock, TX.

Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 ( $2 Shift Differential & Pay for Skills)
Available Shifts (Monday – Friday)
2nd shift: 4:00pm - 2:30am

Job Duties:
- Sample and test finished products and raw materials for chemical, physical and sensory characteristics
- Gather, record and interpret data
- Communicate results and computer entry of data
Qualifications:
- One to two years of related experience
- General understanding of GMP’s, HACCP and Allergen Risk Management helpful
