About Red Rider Creative
Red Rider Creative is a full-service marketing and design agency built on bold ideas, measurable results, and meaningful client partnerships. From brand development to digital campaigns, we create work that inspires action and delivers lasting impact.
We’re looking for a dynamic, results-driven Account Manager who can keep projects moving, clients happy, and teams aligned. This role is the operational backbone of Red Rider — managing communication, coordinating creative projects, and ensuring both our in-house and 1099 teams deliver excellence on time, every time.
Overview
As an Account Manager, you’ll serve as the key liaison between Red Rider’s clients, leadership, and creative team. You’ll build and maintain long-term relationships, oversee the full project lifecycle, and identify new growth opportunities.
This position requires exceptional organization, communication, and leadership skills — as well as a strong understanding of B2B marketing, creative project management, and business development. It’s ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys creative collaboration, and takes pride in keeping complex projects running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Oversee all phases of project management — from planning and production to delivery and follow-up.
- Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables for multiple client projects simultaneously.
- Assign, coordinate, and manage 1099 contractors (designers, writers, videographers, etc.) to ensure on-time completion.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through warm calling, networking, and client referrals.
- Lead negotiations and collaborate with leadership to secure favorable project terms and renewals.
- Partner with creative and technical teams to develop tailored marketing solutions that meet client needs.
- Utilize CRM tools (such as Salesforce or Monday.com) to manage pipelines, track progress, and document communications.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, upsell opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Lead client presentations, performance reviews, and campaign recaps with confidence and clarity.
- Ensure service excellence by promptly addressing client inquiries and resolving issues.
- Support leadership with forecasting, account planning, and strategic growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in account management, B2B sales, or marketing project management (agency experience preferred).
- Proven track record of managing multiple client relationships and delivering measurable results.
- Experience managing freelance or 1099 creative teams across multiple projects.
- Strong understanding of marketing, advertising, and creative production processes.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, Monday.com, HubSpot, or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident leading client meetings and presentations.
- Strong negotiation and analytical abilities; able to identify and act on growth opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and self-motivated with a passion for organization and collaboration.
Preferred Traits
- Tech-savvy with knowledge of creative workflows and digital tools.
- Strategic thinker who can balance creativity with operational discipline.
- A “people-first” professional who thrives in a team-based environment.
- Skilled at warm calling, relationship-building, and turning contacts into loyal clients.
Compensation & Benefits
- $60,000 – $80,000 annual base salary (DOE) performance bonuses
- Hybrid work flexibility (in-office & remote blend)
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- Paid time off and holidays
- Collaborative, supportive team environment
- Opportunities for professional development and leadership growth
