Position: Payroll Specialist

This role exists to ensure every RHINO is paid accurately, efficiently, and on time, no exceptions! As our Payroll Specialist, you’ll own payroll operations end-to-end, from validating data to processing payments and supporting reporting. With a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to doing things right, the Payroll Specialist helps protect the integrity of our payroll practices and support the overall health of the business.

Pay and Perks:

• Compensation: $22-$27.65 per hour; based on experience
• Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL (not a remote position)

About the Role:

• Process accurate, timely payroll across all employees, including multi-state compliance and off-cycle runs
• Audit payroll data, manage tax filings, and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements
• Maintain and optimize payroll systems, reporting, and employee records
• Support benefits programs, including 401(k) and retirement plans
• Partner with HR and Finance while serving as the go-to resource for payroll questions and support
  
  

What We're Looking For:

• 2-3 years of payroll experience; CPP certification or degree in accounting/finance preferred
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems, processing, and multi-state compliance requirements
• High attention to detail with excellent data management and confidentiality standards
• Analytical problem-solver with strong organization and time management skills
• Effective communicator and team player, with experience supporting audits and employee training
