Full job description
The ideal candidate wants to grow into a long term management career and has an eagerness to learn and develop. The front of house manager oversees all operations at a restaurant (except for the kitchen). This individual shapes a restaurant-goer’s experience by maintaining the dining room’s appearance, and ensuring good customer service.
- Experience in managing a team
- 2 years of Previous experience in a full-service restaurant required
- Experience with monthly inventories is a huge plus
- energetic personality
- LBW Knowledge is a must
- Open Table knowledge is a huge plus but I am happy to train
- Candidate must have proven leadership skills and must be able to manage, develop, and motivate a team
- Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment while effectively delegating tasks.
- Must be proficient with computers and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to lift / carry items up to 40 lbs. and push / pull items up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods of time, with frequent bending, twisting, squatting and reaching overhead
