Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and creating exceptional customer experiences. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness in shop, and ensuring that every guest leaves with a smile.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items with precision and care.
- Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately, handling cash transactions efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, including workstations and dining areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies to ensure availability.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a café or retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using POS systems
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
- A commitment to food safety practices to ensure the health of our customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
