Senior User Experience Designer

****This is a hybrid/onsite role with Tues, Wed, Thurs onsite each week*

Senior UX Designer- long term contract in Sunnyvale, CA

• Senior UX Designer 7-10 yrs, with significant experience in leading design production initiatives.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that align with user needs and business objectives
• Experience with Sketch 2025 and up is an absolute MUST.
• Have solid experience with design systems and Sketch component libraries–they will be working on adding Sketch components to an internal Sketch library
• Optimize information architecture and interaction design for seamless digital experiences.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure design feasibility and smooth implementation.
• Must be able to show proficiency in Keynote, Photoshop and other industry relevant design software.
• Crisp clean UX Design and portfolio.
• Have excellent eye for good typography and its applications in design strategy
• Have solid experience with drafting communication strategy, messaging tone & voice,
• Will be working on the launch of a high-stakes B2B Pay property
• Be able to take rein of a design brief and take it from initial draft stages to the final presentation without much handholding
• Past experience working on external-facing properties (or Marcom properties) is a huge bonus.

Creative Direction & Leadership

• Excellent communication skills–they are expected to present to business stakeholders, leadership tranches and sometimes to the C-suite
• Define and maintain a consistent brand identity across all digital platforms.
• Provide creative direction for design teams, ensuring cohesive visual storytelling and UX execution.
• Manage and mentor designers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Oversee the creation of marketing assets, product UI, and content to align with the brand’s vision.

Strategy & Collaboration

• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align design strategies with business goals.
• Translate complex problems into elegant, user-friendly solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest UX/UI trends, design tools, and emerging technologies.
• Present design concepts and strategies to executives and key stakeholders.
