The individual in this role will regularly work with residents, property managers, and community partners throughout the Detroit area and may be required to travel to meet residents in their homes or visit multiple property locations as business needs require.As our LIHTC Compliance and Leasing Specialist, you'll play a central role in connecting residents, property managers, ownership groups, and corporate teams throughout the Detroit area. Your day may begin by assisting a prospective resident through the LIHTC qualification process, helping them understand and complete required paperwork, before transitioning to answering leasing inquiries from individuals searching for affordable housing opportunities. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with property managers on move-ins and move-outs, maintain accurate information within property management software, and serve as the compliance liaison between ownership and management offices.
