THE TYPE OF CANDIDATE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- HUD/LIHTC housing compliance experience (other compliance experience considered)
- Strong communication skills
- Effective problem‑solving abilities
Coaching or mentoring experience, EIV certification, and strong reasoning abilities are preferred.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS A HUD COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST
This full‑time, in‑office position offers schedule options of 7 am–4 pm, 8 am–5 pm, or 9 am–5 pm, Monday-Friday, with minimal travel to sites as needed.
As our HUD Compliance Specialist, you'll spend each day ensuring the accuracy and integrity of HUD/LIHTC compliance across 70 Michigan properties. You'll review move‑ins, recertifications, and income changes, support a centralized compliance leader, and serve as a trusted guide for onsite teams. Your work keeps operations seamless, supports housing stability, and helps ensure every file, resident, and property remains fully compliant.
