YOUR DAY AS A PROPERTY ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST
In this role, you will begin each day by utilizing property accounting software to manage the financial records for several properties on an accrual basis. You will communicate directly with property owners to provide monthly financial reporting, reconcile bank accounts, and prepare necessary documentation for annual audits. During your day, you will also work with vendors and site staff to address billing discrepancies and ensure timely maintenance of all accounts. Your responsibilities will be essential to the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial operations.
YOUR SCHEDULE
The Property Accounting Specialist will work on-site, Monday through Friday.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in project-based accrual accounting
- Understanding of GAAP principles
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting practices
- Proficiency with related software
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Property management accounting experience
- Familiarity with Appfolio, Yardi, or other property management accounting software
