Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor for after-school childcare programs. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, ensure a safe and nurturing environment, and promote positive development for children. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with children. The Site Supervisor will coordinate activities, manage staff, and collaborate with parents to support children's educational and social growth in a faith-based or community setting.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED
Child Development Associate certificate preferred
Must be able to meet Texas Health and Human Services (CPS) Director qualifications
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Proficient skills in typing, word processing, and file maintenance
Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Patient and calm demeanor with students and others
Experience:
One to three years of clerical experience preferably in a day care or public education environment
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Greet and assist parents, teachers, and students and direct them to appropriate personnel.
2. Maintain accurate administrative records and prepare required reports including CCMS and other related programs.
3. Perform general clerical duties for assigned Day Care.
4. Enroll children into the center and provide parent orientation.
5. Supervise the formation of lesson plans to ensure and effective classroom environment and developmentally appropriate curriculum.
6. Supervise curriculum and environment to ensure that program activities are developmentally appropriate, including working with staff to plan, implement, and evaluate the curriculum on a systematic basis
7. Accurately maintain and update files, manuals, handbooks, and logs as assigned.
8. Help Interview and recommend all new staff and approve all campus personnel assigned
9. Maintain a positive and effective relationship with supervisors, co-workers, students, district administrators and community, addressing problems or concerns in a prompt and courteous manner
10. Communicate effectively with all levels of district employees, outside agencies, and the general public.
11. Assist in planning and conducting department trainings
12. Assist in ordering, storing, and distributing supplies and equipment and the management of fixed assets of the campus/ department.
13. Assist in the preparation and documentation of ceremonies and emergency drills as needed.
14. Schedule meetings and appointments and maintain calendar of events.
15. Monitor personnel time records and other campus and department records.
16. Maintain and balance tuition ledgers.
17. Maintain an accurate knowledge base and comply with state, district, and school policies and regulations concerning primary job functions.
18. Coordinate events with the campus principal.
19. Present to parents/ public a professional appearance and demeanor.
20. Work well with people/ children of diverse backgrounds.
21. Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $13.90 - $19.19 per hour
