Part-time & Seasonal Positions
Join the team at one of the Finger Lakes' most iconic wineries.
At Red Newt Cellars, we believe that great wine is only part of the experience. Great food, genuine hospitality, and memorable conversations are what bring people back.
For more than 25 years, Red Newt has helped shape the Finger Lakes wine scene, pairing handcrafted wines with thoughtful food and warm hospitality. Every day, guests visit us to celebrate, explore the region, and discover something new.
We're looking for people who enjoy making others feel welcome and who want to be part of that experience.
Whether you're pouring a wine tasting, recommending the perfect pairing, serving guests in the bistro, or helping someone discover their new favorite bottle, every day is a little different.
If you love people, enjoy working hard, and get excited about wine, food, and hospitality, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
Depending on the day, you'll work in several areas of our hospitality program:
- Welcome guests and create a warm, relaxed experience
- Lead wine tastings and share the stories behind our wines
- Serve food and wine in our Bistro and Wine Bar
- Help guests choose wines, pairings, and gifts
- Process retail sales and Wine Club memberships
- Work as part of an energetic, supportive team
- Continue learning about wine, food, and hospitality through ongoing staff education
No two days are exactly alike—and that's part of what makes the job enjoyable.
You'll Thrive Here If You...
- Naturally enjoy talking with people
- Have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Stay calm and organized in a busy environment
- Like learning new things
- Appreciate great food and wine—or want to learn more about them
- Take pride in doing things well
- Are dependable and enjoy being part of a team
Previous wine knowledge is certainly a plus, but it isn't required. We'll teach you about our wines, our vineyards, food pairings, and hospitality. Curiosity, enthusiasm, and kindness matter just as much as experience.
