Red Mountain Weight Loss is seeking a Web Developer to build, maintain, and optimize our public-facing websites and internal web tools. This role will implement modern, high-quality web experiences using WordPress, React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS. You’ll collaborate with the CTO, marketing, design, and technology teams to deliver performant, accessible, and user-friendly web solutions that support the company’s digital growth strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites and supporting front-end components
- Build responsive, modern web applications using React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business and marketing requirements into technical solutions
- Implement UI/UX best practices to ensure accessible, high-performing experiences
- Improve website performance, SEO, and cross-device compatibility
- Support deployment, hosting, and configuration across cloud/CDN platforms (Cloudflare, AWS, Azure, or similar)
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve web issues in staging and production environments
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to development standards
- Contribute to Agile development processes, including sprint planning and stand-ups
- Document features, technical decisions, and implementation details
- Stay current with emerging web technologies and frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years of professional web development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with WordPress development and customization
- Experience building front-end applications using React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS
- Familiarity with Agile development environments
- Nice-to-have: experience with cloud hosting, CDN configuration, and web infrastructure (Cloudflare, AWS, Azure)
Skills
- Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end framework knowledge
- Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and accessibility best practices
- Experience optimizing websites for performance, SEO, and cross-device compatibility
