What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Assistant position at Red Mountain Sedona?
We are looking for a respectful, considerate and enthusiastic Human Resources Specialist to manage our companies' health and benefits, assist with recruiting and onboarding, and serve as a knowledgeable resource to our employees. Our ideal candidate will have some knowledge/exposure to Human Resources. This position requires someone who is analytical with a high attention to details.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Manage Health and Benefits enrollments, terminations, and audits
- Manage annual Open Enrollment by educating staff on changes/process, ensure all staff members complete elections and serve as main point of contact
- Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, interviewing candidates, extending offers of employment, and onboarding new hires
- Coordinate employee safety, welfare and wellness
- Process new hire documentation
- Assist with new hire onboarding
- Process payroll
- Maintain physical and digital Personnel Files
- Maintain HR Policies and procedures
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government regulations affecting HR functions
- Provide management monthly communication on Reviews, Birthdays, and Anniversaries
- Oversee HIPAA and Sexual Harassment compliance
- Maintain accurate Federal and State compliance posters
- Other duties as necessary
Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources is a plus
- Exposure to Health and Benefits is a plus
- Experience with ADP platform is a plus
- Effective HR Administration and people management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
- Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools
- Fantastic organizational and time management skills
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
Pay: $30,000.00 per year
