Plumber Helper

Red Moon Elite is seeking reliable and skilled Plumber Helpers to support our commercial plumbing installations. This role requires dependable individuals with a solid work ethic, basic plumbing knowledge, and the ability to work in fast-paced construction environments under the supervision of licensed plumbers.

Job Specific Responsibilities:

• Assist journeyman and master plumbers with installation of piping systems, fixtures, and valves in commercial projects.
• Measure, cut, and assemble pipe materials using hand and power tools.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring materials and tools are properly stored and accessible.
• Load and unload plumbing materials and tools; transport equipment to and from job sites.
• Support testing of systems for leaks and blockages using air or water pressure gauges.
• Follow directions from lead plumbers and respond to safety and quality control guidance.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and site supervisors.
• Train to be Lead Technician within 1-2 years.

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience assisting on plumbing or general construction sites.
• Familiarity with plumbing tools, materials, and basic safety practices.
• Must possess basic hand tools relevant to plumbing tasks.
• Must be fluent in English; bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
• Ability to read and follow basic plumbing plans or take direction from blueprints.
• Understanding of workplace safety including PPE, ladder safety, and hazard recognition.

Compensation:

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Additional Requirements:

• Must pass a 9-panel drug test.
• Background check required.

Functional Requirements:

• Assist in installing and securing plumbing systems and components.
• Help prepare work areas and layout routes for pipe systems.
• Support testing, cleaning, and maintenance of installed systems under supervision.

Physical Involvement:

Employee may be required to do the following: climbing ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc. above and below ground level; maintaining balance; reaching, handling, and manipulating objects; coordinating hand-eye movement; lifting 30 to 50 pounds from various levels; standing; walking; bending; kneeling; crouching; crawling; seeing and hearing with or without correction.

Mental Involvement:

Employee may be required to do the following: follow set procedures and standards; apply basic math; understand measurements; follow oral/written directions and blueprints; identify safety risks and communicate effectively.

• Location: industrial construction sites
• Mobility Barriers: uneven terrain, confined spaces, work at elevations
• Climate/Environment: outdoor work in varying weather conditions; exposure to noise, tools, and materials; possible contact with chemical substances
