Job description:
Mercado West, Red Mesa Restaurant Group’s newest and fastest-growing Cali-Mex concept, is seeking energetic, friendly, and motivated servers to join our team. As a server, you are the face of the restaurant, creating an exceptional guest experience while supporting a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional service as a server.
- Take accurate orders and deliver food and beverages promptly.
- Describe menu items, specials, and answer guest questions.
- Collaborate with other servers, kitchen, and bar staff to maintain smooth operations.
- Monitor your tables and anticipate guest needs to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain clean, organized tables, service areas, and stations.
- Operate the POS system accurately for orders and payments.
- Support team members during busy periods, helping other servers as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server is required.
- Experience in a Mexican or Latin American restaurant is preferred, but not required.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills.
- Positive, guest-focused attitude with attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards is a plus.
