Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tesla Solar Installer to join our growing team ASAP. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems on residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various roofing materials, power tools, and electrical systems, ensuring that installations are completed safely and efficiently.
Duties
- Install solar panels on rooftops and ground-mounted systems according to design specifications.
- Utilize power tools and equipment safely to complete installations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while adhering to quality standards.
- Conduct site assessments to determine the best installation practices based on roof structure and orientation.
- Perform electrical work, including wiring and connecting solar panels to inverters and electrical systems.
- Use voltmeters and other testing equipment to verify system performance post-installation.
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards during all installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience in roofing or construction is preferred, with a strong understanding of various roof types. Preferably experienced in Tesla systems.
- Familiarity with power tools and safety equipment used in installation processes.
- Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems is a plus; experience as a commercial electrician is highly desirable.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to solar installation projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot installation issues as they arise.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights safely; must be comfortable on roofs or ladders.
