Responsibilities
- Supervise front desk operations, including check-in/check-out procedures, reservations, and guest inquiries to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Lead and motivate the hospitality team, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing environment.
- Manage hospitality operations budgets, including revenue management strategies and controlling costs to maximize profitability.
- Oversee human resources functions such as staffing schedules, onboarding new team members, and ensuring compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
- Deliver exceptional guest services by addressing guest needs promptly, resolving issues effectively, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with other departments like housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage to ensure cohesive operations and guest comfort.
- Handle financial operations such as night audits, billing accuracy, and reporting to support operational integrity.
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience within the hospitality industry or hotel management environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage hospitality teams effectively across various functions.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele better.
- Knowledge of hotel management systems, multi-line phone systems, phone etiquette, and front desk procedures.
- Experience in revenue management, managing hospitality operations budgets, and financial reporting is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability in human resources practices including staffing, training, and employee relations.
- Previous resort or hotel experience is advantageous; familiarity with night audit processes is a plus.
