What are the responsibilities and job description for the SHORT HAUL - Driver position at Red Line Trucking?
SHORT HAUL – (2 nights out per week)
- Average 2700 miles per week
- Normally leave on Sunday
- Guaranteed 2 days off each week
- Regular routed runs
- No equipment over 5 years old
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 23 years of age
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 1 year OTR experience
- Pass road test, physical, drug screen
- MVR review to meet insurance standards
- No major moving violations
- Stable, verifiable work history
- Must live within 100 miles of Emporia, KS (exceptions may be allowed)
COMPENSATION:
- Minimum base of 44 cents per mile (must have 2 years minimum experience)
- Up to 10 cents per mile in bonuses available each month
- Experience rating system
- Includes loaded and empty miles
