The Machine Operator will monitor the quality of the plastics parts after they are demolded to ensure the parts are to quality standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:Operates rotational molding machine to meet or exceed plant metrics related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Morale/InventoryDetects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisorMaintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulationsPerforms prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required per the P.M. charts.Performs but not limited to the following tasks: material filling, deburring, molding, all bench operations, and inspection of productSafely works at a pace that meets company expectations e.g., parts per hour or minutes per part as quoted to customer.Accepts and receives frequent supervision and assistance regarding machine set-upAn individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
