Job Description
Red Letter Clean is looking for a dependable, hardworking Ground Assistant to help with roof cleaning, soft washing, pressure washing, and other exterior cleaning services.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes direction well, and is willing to learn. The Ground Assistant will work alongside our roof-cleaning technician to help jobs run safely, smoothly, and efficiently.
No previous experience is required. We are willing to train the right person!
Responsibilities
- Assist with setting up and packing up equipment at job sites.
- Help prepare hoses, cleaning equipment, and supplies.
- Monitor equipment and hoses from the ground during roof-cleaning jobs.
- Help keep the work area safe, clean, and organized.
- Assist with rinsing plants and surrounding areas when needed.
- Help with driveway cleaning, pool cage cleaning, and other exterior cleaning services.
- Follow all safety procedures and instructions.
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers.
- Clean and maintain equipment after completing jobs.
Qualifications
- Dependable and punctual.
- Comfortable working outdoors in Florida's heat and weather.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift equipment as needed.
- Willing to learn and follow safety instructions.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Previous pressure washing, landscaping, or construction experience is a plus but not required.
- Must be comfortable working around ladders and roof-cleaning equipment from the ground.
- Must have a Valid Driver's License
Important: This is a ground-level support position. Climbing onto roofs is not a regular responsibility of this role.
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
