We’re seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Budtender to join our team. If you’re passionate about cannabis, dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, and possess a strong work ethic, we’d love to hear from you!
Important: Applicants must be OMMA-certified BEFORE hiring. Credentials can be obtained online through the OMMA portal. To quicken the hiring process, have your credentials BEFORE applying. This credential is required before working in any area of the cannabis industry in the state of Oklahoma and follows your person, not the facility. Therefore, you are personally responsible for paying for the associated fees ($30 OMMA application and $15 OSCBI background check), and Medicated Dispensary is not responsible nor associated with your personal credential or OMMA account.

Key Responsibilities
-Follow and uphold all compliance, rules & regulations set forth by OMMA and the state of Oklahoma.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of cannabis products (terpenes & their effects, how to read testing, difference in Indica/Hybrid/Sativa, etc.).
-Be knowledgeable about patient’s rights and responsibilities.
- Greet and welcome patients warmly.
- Consult patients and recommend products to meet their needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Track and manage inventory effectively.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in-store.
- Update and maintain Weedmaps listings daily.
- Assist with daily operational tasks.
- Barcode and price products, stock shelves, and manage Weedmaps updates (adding/removing inventory).
-Receive shipments and check-in products.
-Exhibit active listening skills and be teachable.
-Operate technology such as computers, iPads, RFID scanners and troubleshoot their issues when they arise
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid Medical Marijuana License (if applicable).
- OMMA credentials are required as of 1/31/2024. This includes a background check through OSBI, completed via your personal OMMA portal.
- Superior customer service skills.
-Basic computer skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
-Business casual/professional dress attire
