We looking for a Drafter to work with our team to convert designs into technical plans. The Drafter is responsible for estimating, getting all the correct information, creating drawings and specifications for the shop floor, calculating and ordering material. If you have experience with CAD software and are familiar with metal fabrication processes, we’d like to meet you!
Responsibilities
- Create shop blueprints for building decorative architectural metal work
- Work within our ERP System - Fulcrum
- Create Estimates and Proposals for new work
- Communicate with Vendors, Clients, Builders
- Calculate and order necessary materials
- Ensure final designs comply with codes and quality standards
- Create documentation for existing products
Skills
- Good communication skills
- Good organizing skills
- Detail oriented
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Experience with decorative metal fabrication processes
- Understanding of construction principles and mechanical design concepts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
