Job Description
Do you want to help bring fresh, local food directly to the Tallahassee community? The Red Hills Online Market is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and high-energy individual to join our team as Market Warehouse Staff.
This position is strictly a two-day-a-week role (Wednesdays and Thursdays) focused on order fulfillment. You will work on the ground in our warehouse to accurately pack community grocery orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, sort, and pack fresh produce, meats, and local goods into customer order bins in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Inventory Quality Control: Inspect incoming items from local producers to ensure they meet our standards for freshness and quality before packing.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Help maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary warehouse environment, including breaking down boxes, sweeping, and managing reusable bins.
- Other Duties as Required
Schedule Requirements
This is a set, part-time schedule. Candidates must be fully available for both Wednesday and Thursday each week.
Qualifications & Skills
- Reliable and Punctual.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to read order packing slips accurately so customers always get exactly what they ordered.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30lbs repeatedly throughout the shift in a warehouse setting.
- Community-Minded: A positive attitude and passion for local food and community service.
