Work Duties
- prepare and cook food items according to recipes & quality standards
- ensure food preparation areas are clean and sanitized
- follow proper food handling & safety procedures
- collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely & efficient service
- monitor food inventory and communicate any shortages or discrepancies
- maintain a clean and organized work station

Experience, Skill & Certifications
- previous experience in a food service or culinary role preferred
- knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, knife skills & knowledge of kitchen equipment
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment & handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- strong attention to detail & ability to follow recipes accurately
- maintain current Lancaster County Health Department food handler permit, Prep Cook level or higher

Please note that this position requires the ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, & work in a hot kitchen environment.
