- Protects and controls specific game assigned.
- Conducts the games in accordance with policies and procedures at a fair and consistent pace by prompting players to act in a timely manner.
- Makes the appropriate announcements including exposed cards, bets, raises, and the number of players in the hand.
- Responsible to ensure that each player puts the proper amount of chips in the pot.
- Handles player transactions and tracking.
- Notifies the Floor Lead of any irregularities.
- Advises the Floor Lead of any player disputes or arguments that may arise during the game.
- Informs the Floor Lead of any important or relevant facts regarding specific players and their action.
- Creates an atmosphere of Fun, Integrity, Respect, Service, and teamwork for all team members and casino guests at all times.
- Maintains a professional departmental, company and community reputation.
- Uses A.C.T. standards at all times while maintaining a professional, friendly, and courteous atmosphere.
- Enthusiastically seek opportunities to inform guests and team members about special promotions, upcoming events and services.
- Maintains knowledge of and promotes departmental and property-wide promotions through Flight Checks and communications standards.
- Maintains a professional, friendly and courteous atmosphere providing the guest with a delightful gaming experience, and notifying Leads of any guest needs i.e., cocktails, Host Service, etc.
- Maintains current knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, state, compact, etc.) and attendant regulations, as well as internal controls, policies and procedures.
- Understands and promotes team work by maintaining cleanliness of the Poker Room, including washing cards when assigned.
- Actively supports the Floor with running chips, seating players, and assisting with guest service needs.
- Follows established rotation and break procedures and confirms with the Floor prior to leaving the room.
- Assists by notifying the Floor/Host for comps, player card reprints, and guest service recovery as needed.
- Follows all Title 31 and internal control requirements as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- May provide relief support for Floor Lead tasks when assigned and properly trained.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior documented experience dealing poker or passing an audition is required.
- General knowledge of poker rules is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
