Red Hat is looking for a Senior Product Manager to work with our customers to advance its leading automation product, Ansible Automation Platform in Raleigh, United States.
In this role you will contribute to the overall product and go-to-market strategies, getting input from customers and internal stakeholders to evolve and promote the delivery of the Platform roadmap. You will work closely with engineering, marketing, support, sales, and field teams to ensure the success of our offerings. You will be the overall accountable party for delivering functionalities and solutions - responsible for timelines, driving roadmap and program execution, feeding and prioritizing requirements for engineering, and enabling the feedback loop.

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.

What You Will Do
- Drive roadmap and program execution by working directly with product and engineering teams across the product portfolio to ensure the solution provides value to the User.
- Define product features and measurable business outcomes.
- Translate business requirements into technical user stories with acceptance criteria
- Requirement gathering and product backlog management.
- Be responsible for driving the growth of the product (strategy and KPIs)
- Define and use metrics/KPIs to measure the success and health of products and the impact of business outcomes.
- Ensure key stakeholders are informed and communicate to field /customers future vision & direction
- Align strategic and tactical features in the Platform roadmap with Red Hat’s strategic objectives.
- Be accountable for the evangelism of product direction to customers, engineering, field, and other product teams.
- Written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to adjust style based on audience.
- Proven record of motivating and leading others without having direct authority over them.
- Ability to build trust with different groups/stakeholders.
- Translate high-level customer problems into actionable solutions.
- IT Automation business and market understanding: existing experience as a member of an automation team in an enterprise organization.
- IT Automation technical understanding: existing experience with the principles and implementation of Infrastructure as Code, Configuration as Code and DevOps practices.
